Presentation Services
Every Case Has a Story.
Mediation, arbitration, and trial each require a different approach, a different audience strategy, and a different goal. The foundation stays the same.
At its core, telling an injured person's story is the foundation of every personal injury case — a story about a person whose life changed in an instant, about what was taken from them, and about the responsibility of those whose actions caused it. The challenge is not simply documenting what happened. The challenge is presenting that story in a way that the right audience, at the right moment, fully understands and connects with it.
Donegan Legal Solutions builds presentation packages for three distinct stages of that process: mediation, arbitration, and trial. Each stage requires a different approach, a different audience strategy, and a different goal to be achieved. What remains consistent across all three is the foundation: an experienced trial attorney building your presentation specifically for the audience you are facing — and a clear case theme developed before a single slide is designed.
What sets a Donegan Legal Solutions presentation apart is the perspective behind it. Before founding this company, Chris Donegan spent the first seven years of his career on the defense side of personal injury litigation — managing cases, advising insurance carriers on exposure and settlement value, and evaluating plaintiff presentations as an adversary. As Of Counsel at a Tampa plaintiff firm, Mr. Donegan remains actively involved in litigation today — so every recommendation reflects what is working in Florida courtrooms right now, not what worked years ago.
The Defense-Side Perspective
Seven years on the defense side means understanding exactly how the other side evaluates your case — what an adjuster needs to see to justify authority, what a defense attorney brings to their roundtable, and where gaps in a presentation give them reasons to push back on value. The other side receives a package that answers their questions before they have a chance to ask them.
The Plaintiff-Side Perspective
More than seven years representing plaintiffs has built an equally important understanding — how to present evidence in a way that makes the client's story ring true throughout, how to sequence a damages narrative so that the human reality of the injury stays at the center, and how to build a presentation that holds up not just in the room, but through every question that follows.

Mediation Presentation Packages
Mediation is not the time to win an argument. It is the time to educate.
The process begins 30 to 45 days before the mediation conference — not the morning of. A well-crafted presentation, delivered in advance, gives the defense the opportunity to fully evaluate your liability theory, understand the medical evidence and damages, and go through their internal roundtable process with the information they need to come to the table with real authority. If you are waiting until the morning of mediation to share what your case is worth, the opportunity has already passed.
Mediation serves two distinct purposes. The first is to settle the case at the mediation conference itself — to bring all the stakeholders together with the information and authority they need to reach a resolution at the table. The second is to educate the defense so thoroughly that the case settles in the weeks or months after the conference, once their internal evaluation process has run its course. Both outcomes require the same foundation: a presentation that gives the other side everything they need to understand the true value of the case.
Every mediation presentation is developed by an experienced trial attorney who understands the audience you are facing — structuring the liability theory in a way that is organized and credible, presenting the medical evidence in terms a non-physician adjuster can understand and act on, and building to a damages narrative that is grounded in the record and proportionate to the injury.

Arbitration Presentation Packages
Mediation educates. Arbitration requires you to prove your case with evidence.
Arbitration is a different proceeding with a different purpose and a different standard. Where mediation is designed to educate the defense and create the conditions for resolution, arbitration requires you to present your case — through evidence, testimony, and argument — and support a decision from an arbitrator or panel of arbitrators based on the record you build.
Whether the arbitration is binding or non-binding, the presentation must do what a trial presentation does: organize the proof, establish liability through the evidence, and present damages in a way that compels a specific result. A single arbitrator reaching a binding decision requires a different approach than a three-member panel in a non-binding proceeding. We ask the right questions at the outset of every engagement to understand the forum, the panel, and the standard that applies, and build the presentation accordingly.
Every package includes a complete review of your record and deposition testimony — a strategic analysis of what the evidence establishes, what it leaves open, and how to present it in the sequence that builds the strongest case. Arbitrators are weighing evidence and reaching a conclusion, and your presentation needs to make that conclusion as clear and well-supported as possible.

Trial Presentation & Support
Built by a trial attorney who has sat at counsel table. For the attorneys sitting there now.
Trial is the full exercise — and it is unlike any other proceeding in the litigation cycle. A trial presentation must introduce your client to a jury who knows nothing about them, establish your theory of liability before the first witness takes the stand, carry a coherent narrative across multiple days of complex testimony, and culminate in a closing argument that gives the jury both the permission and the framework to return the verdict you are asking for.
What makes trial preparation different is that the audience changes everything. Jurors are individuals from different backgrounds and different walks of life who will evaluate your case through the lens of their own sense of fairness and responsibility. Every theme decision, every evidence selection, every word choice in the opening and closing is made with that audience in mind.
Mr. Donegan has tried more than 20 cases across all types of personal injury matters in courts throughout Florida. He knows the rhythm of a trial from the inside — what resonates in opening, what gets lost in closing, how to sequence evidence across multiple days without losing a working jury, and how to build a presentation that holds together even when trial does not go exactly as planned.
Trial presentation packages include case theme development, opening and closing architecture, evidence organization and sequencing strategy, and a complete professional presentation delivered as a production-ready PowerPoint file.

Presentation Conversion Packages
When your case moves to the next stage, your presentation needs to move with it.
When a case advances from mediation to arbitration, or from mediation or arbitration to trial, the presentation that served you at the last stage needs to be rebuilt for the next one. The forum has changed, the audience has changed, and new developments in the case — additional records, updated deposition testimony, new expert opinions, revised damages — need to be integrated.
A Presentation Conversion Package takes an existing DLS-prepared presentation and transforms it for the next proceeding. This is not a cosmetic update. It is a substantive rebuild: integrating new case materials, reframing the narrative for the new audience and proceeding type, restructuring the evidentiary architecture where required, and delivering a presentation positioned to succeed in the next forum.
Conversion packages are scoped based on the new materials provided at the time of engagement. The tier that applies is determined by the volume and complexity of the new materials — not the length of the original presentation.
